- Gloria A. (Rollman) Bauman, 74, of Ephrata, passed away after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her family, on Monday, June 19, 2017, in Ephrata, PA.
Gloria was born in Ephrata, PA to Monroe and Mary (Smith) Rollman on May 29, 1943. She was married to the late Chester W. Bauman. She retired from the Ephrata Area School District where she worked for many years as a Teacher's Aide and Playground Supervisor. She won the 'Mother of the Year' award for fifty-five consecutive years, from her loving family. Gloria loved to cook all of the kids' favorite meals. The family agreed that there is not enough paper to list all of their favorite dishes.
Preceding Gloria in death are her parents, two brothers Gerald Rollman and Earl J. Rollman, and a grandson Dylan Garman.
Surviving Gloria are six children: Scott Bauman (Jackie) of Ephrata, PA, Robbie Bauman of Ephrata, PA, Jodi Kinsey (Alan) of Gap, PA, Kelli Hart (Brian) of Marietta, PA, Corie Bauman (Rebecca) of Lititz, PA, Jason Bauman (living at home) in Ephrata, PA; ten grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are siblings: Robert W. Rollman of Ephrata, Lucille Miller of Ephrata, Jean Adkins (Jack) of Radford, VA, James M. Rollman of Bremerton, WA, Carl E. Rollman of Stevens, PA, and Terry L. Rollman (Kay), of Lancaster, PA.
Friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, June 22, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gravenor Home for Funerals 100 W. Main Street Ephrata, PA 17522. There will be an additional viewing time from 10 – 11 a.m. on Friday, June 23, 2017, with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Gravenor's with Chaplain Don Kinnier, officiating. Interment will follow the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery, North State Street in Ephrata, PA.
