  James O. Zerbe, age 91, of Overland Park, KS, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. James was born on August 8, 1926 in Wichita, KS to Alvin and Madge (NEE: Babb) Zerbe. James was the loving father of Doug (Barb) Zerbe, Gary (Kathryn) Zerbe, Nancy (Mark) Schrag and Brad (Kenda) Zerbe; cherished grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 17 and beloved brother of Richard Zerbe and Linda (Kenneth) Bunton. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Janet L. Zerbe; children, Marc and Dana Zerbe, brother, Alvin Zerbe Jr. and sister in-law, Mary Zerbe. Hobbies included KU Jayhawk basketball, woodworking and golf. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of James, to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), 215 W.
