  Mrs. Charles Dickinson of Davenport, died at 9:35 last night at Mercy hospital as the result of a stroke of paralysis. The deceased was born May 5, 1858, in Cedar county, Iowa. For the past 35 years she has been a music teacher in Tipton, Iowa. She moved to Davenport last January, her husband received a position with the Ideal Lighting company. Two weeks ago she was stricken with paralysis which resulted in her death. She is survived by her husband, Charles R., two sons Fred F. and Milton A., all of Davenport and one daughter, Mrs. Anne Elson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The body will lie at Halligan's undertaking parlors and any of her friends desiring to see her may do so until 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The body will be shipped Tuesday at 4:25 to Tipton and the funeral will be held there Wednesday afternoon. Davenport Democrat and Leader: Sept. 27, 1909 Page 7
