  Frank P. Grimes, father of two men who have brought prominence to the Fredericksburg region of this county through their wholesale poultry operations over a wide-spread territory, passed away at 6:30 o'clock, Friday evening, at the Good Samaritan Hospital, this city, where he was under treatment for six weeks, suffering from a complication of ailments. He would have reached the 72nd year of his age next March. He spent his early career as a farmer, but lived a retired life for some years past. The decedent was a member of St. Paul's Reformed Church at Hamlin. In addition to Coble E. and Charles Grimes, who operate separate poultry enterprises at Fredericksburg, he leaves two other sons, Elmer P., of New York City, and Walter H., of Womelsdorf, and three daughters, Mrs. Sallie P. Trautman and Mrs. Lillie I. Swope, of Fredericksburg; and Mrs. Luella Miller, of Reading. Robert Grimes, of Los Angeles, Calif., is a brother, and Mrs. Sallie Reich, of Lebanon; Mrs. Lizzie Hartman, of Buffalo Springs and Mrs. Cora Deck, of Womelsdorf, are sisters.
