- Services for Lawrence F. Klopp, who died Sunday afternoon in his residence at 240 E. Washington St., Wernersville, will be hold on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
The Rev. Thomas E. Eisenman will officiate in the Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, Wernersville. Burial will be made in St. John's (Host) Church Cemetery.
Born in Heidelberg Township, a son of the late Charles and Sarah (Brossman) Klopp, he was employed as a welder by the Eastern Frame Division of the Dana Corp.
Mr. Klopp was a member of St. John's (Host) United Church of Christ, near Womeldsorf; Lodge 62, F&AM; Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Reading and Rajah Temple, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine.
He also was affiliated with the Reading-Berks Basketball Old-Timers, Dana Corp. Quarter Century Club and the Pioneer of Robesonia and Citizens' of Wernersville hose companies.
Surviving are his widow, Helen R. (Reedy) Klopp; a daughter, Barbara A., wife of Robert Pennypacker, Wernersville, and a grandson.
Four brothers; Charles, Wernersville; Robert, Mohnton R. D. 3; Stanley, Robesonia and Raymond, Boca Raton, Fla.
Six sisters: Sadie, wife of Levi Eckert, Wernersville R. D. 3; Annie, widow of Robert Anspach, Sinking Spring, Esther, widow of Jacob Putt, Robesonia, and Jennie, widow of George Yocum; Katie, widow of Charles Dunkelberger, and Emily, wife of J. Norman Taylor, all of Reading.
