HOY Carl M. Hoy, 78, of 946 Highland St., died Friday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Hoy was a native of Cortland and resided in Syracuse since 1991. Surviving are his wife, Filomena Leonelli Hoy; a son, William Doyle of Syracuse; a brother, Lee; and a sister, Erma Keeling, both of St. Petersburg, Florida; a nephew, John Brown of Cortland; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m., Monday at Farone & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Cortland Rural Cemetery.
