  On the same base as John K. Derr, however, his stone has fallen off the base. Amanda, wife of John Derr (nee Leiss), a highly esteemed lady of Jefferson township, died March 16, after a lingering illness of general disability, aged 64 years. Her husband and two children survive: Henry Derr of Marion and Isabella, wife of Nathaniel Lutz, of North Heidelberg. Deceased was an active member of the Reformed congregation of Host Church. Funeral on Wednesday, March 22 at 9:30 a.m. at the house. Services at Host Church, by Rev. T. C. Leinbach. Interment in Host cemetery. Undertaker Thomas C. Kalbach has charge.
