- Ruth D. Roeder of Wernersville, PA 19565, passed away Dec. 26, 2012.
She was born in West Reading, PA, on Oct. 18, 1931, to Barbara Deeds and Samuel Tobias.
Ruth worked at Arrow International and retired after 25 years there.
She was predeceased by her husband, Earl H. Roeder; daughter, Debra Joyce; sister, Marguerite Schmeer; and grandson, Barry T. Roeder.
Survivors include children: Donna Gorman, wife of Charles Gorman, of Bernville, PA; Dawn Roeder of Reading, PA; Earl R. Roeder (Rick) of Kenhorst, PA; Ray L. Roeder of Blandon, PA; Deborah J. Kalis, wife of Mike Kalis, of Wernersville, PA; brothers, Ronald L. Tobias of Mt. Pleasant, PA and Ralph Tobias of Pottstown, PA; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Ruth was a loving mother and friend. She loved fishing, vacationing in the Poconos, genealogy, bird-watching, playing ones-and-fives dice game and spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Baby. She also enjoyed camping in Delaware and Chincoteague, VA.
