  Joshua is the son of Benjamin (1691-1743) lived & passed in Brandywine, Chester Co., PA. He married Lydia Mendenhall in 1755. His will was made on Feb 13, 1816. He left his loving wife, and executive, all his land and estate, 39 1/2 acres, on which he lived. Upon her passing, it was to go to his daughter Martha Mendenhall and her heirs and assigns. Eldest son David and Executor of his estate - one dollar James - one dollar Jonathan's (deceased) children - seventy-five cents each Isaac - one dollar Aaron - twenty shillings Jemmima Vickers (sp?)- twenty shillings Hannah's (deceased) Sharpless children - five shillings each.
