- Loren Phillip Anderson, 85, of Arnold, died Saturday,
July 26, at Golden Living Center in Broken Bow.
Services were held Wednesday, July 30 at the
United Methodist Church in Arnold with Pastor Andrew
Black officiating. Burial with military honors was at the
Arnold Cemetery.
Loren was born in a farm home in Tiffan, Custer
County, to Jesse and Marvel Anderson. On April 14, 1948,
he married Maryann Johnson in Seneca, Kan. Maryann
died in 1995.
Survivors include Cheryl and her husband, John King of
Shelton; Allen and his wife,Sally, of Norfolk; Melvin and
his wife, Peggy, of Merna; Robert and his wife, Shari,
of Cedar Bluffs, Kan.; Donald and his wife, Linda, of
Grand View, Mo.; Patricia of Hershey; Sue Ellen and
husband, Randy Ellis, of North Platte; John and his wife,
Elaine, of North Platte; Lori and husband, Bruce Salisbury, of
Rushville; Lana of Sutherland; Lorna and husband,
Jim Carlson, of North Platte; 29 grandchildren and numerous
great-grandchildren. Brothers : Richard Dale Anderson and
Elvin Lee Anderson.
Loren was a veteran. He was a farmer in Pine Canyon
until 1975 and moved to Arnold. He enjoyed visiting with
all of his grandchildren.
Arnold Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
