  October 5, 1906 Miss Minnie Osborne Miss Minnie Osborne, 22 years old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Osborne of North Jackson, died in the City hospital Saturday morning, the result, Coroner Klyne found, of a criminal operation. The girl's auto-mortem statement implicated three men with being directly or indirectly responsible for her death, Dr. G. W. Proctor of Shallersville, Paul Rose of Ellsworth township and Clyde Gamble of Rosemont. The accused were arrested and arraigned before a Portage Co., Justice and held in heavy bail. Dr. Proctor, who is 70 years old, promptly gave bond for his appearance, but Rose and Gamble were placed in jail at Ravenna. They may have secured bail ere this. Rose formerly lived in this city but some years since bought a farm in Ellsworth where he moved. Gamble is well known at Rosemont. All declare their innocence of the crime charged against them. Youngstown The funeral services of Miss Minnie Osborne were conducted in the Presbyterian church Tuesday and largely attended. She leaves to mourn her loss her father, mother, two brothers and a large circle of friends. North Jackson
