  Mr. Dale W. Wilson, age 62, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, September 14, 1976, at 6:25 a.m. at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born August 14, 1914, at Hillsboro, the son of Joseph and Alice Thornton Wilson. On September 17, 1938, he was married to Wilma Eyler at Hillsboro. He was a member of Big Mound Methodist Church, Belmont Masonic Lodge and Hillsboro American Legion. He served in World War ll in the Navy. Surviving are his wife, Wilma; one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Sandy) Burk of Marshalltown; one granddaughter, Becky; one brother, Floyd Wilson of Batavia, Iowa; on sister, Mrs. Flossie Leazer of Salem. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 16, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hillsboro Christian Church, with the Rev. Scott Holmes of the Big Mound Methodist Church and Rev. Lester Smith of the Hillsboro Baptist Church officiating. Full military rites will be held at the Hillsboro Cemetery.
