  Paul W.Oppenlander, age 66, died at a local hospital Sept. 19, 1974, He had been a lifelong resident of the Lansing area. He was a member and former Board member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church: graduated From Lansing Central High School and Lansing Business University: Life Member of Lansing Lodge No. 33 F. & A. M.: former member of the Lansing Jaycees: member of the Ingham County Conservation Club, and recently elected Treasures of the Michigan United Conservation Club. He retires for the American Bank and Trust Co. 3 years ago, as Assistant Vice President and Trust officer after 43 years of service. He was a member, and former President of the Lansing Accountants Club. Surviving are Wife, Mrs. Inez S. of Lansing 2 sons,of Lansing; daughter of Lansing; 2 sisters, Mrs. Thelma Caruss of Dimondale, Mrs. Della Laurence of Lansing. Religious services will be conducted by Rev. Donald H Merrill at 1:00 p.m. Monday in the Estes-Leadley Colonial Chapel, with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Bauer, Forrest Merrill, Ronald Ayling, Harry Walters, Ethan Allen and Dennis Sturgis.
