- Sue A. Stark, 50, of South Bend, passed away at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center, South Bend, after an extended illness.
Sue was born on February 6, 1957, in Goshen, IN, and resided in the Michiana area her lifetime. In 1975, Sue found her loving companion, Duane E. Kaminski of South Bend, who survives.
Also surviving are two sisters, Judith K. (Levi) Vail of Elkhart, IN, and Jane E. (Stephen) McCart of Clover, SC; two brothers, Jon K. Doan Stark of Middlebury, IN, and Michael P. (Lynette) Stark of Elkhart, IN, her stepfather, Glenn E. Stark of Elkhart, IN; also four nieces and three nephews survive.
Sue retired from Key Bank in Elkhart after many years of service. She was a graduate of Concord High School Class of 1975 and attended Indiana State University.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Sally A. Doan Stark.
Sue loved basket weaving, music, football and baseball and numerous crafts. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Elkhart.
The family requests that all memorial contributions be made to American Diabetes Association, 10872 Queen Rd., Plymouth, IN 46563.
Visitation hours will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, in the Hanley & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home, located at West Ireland Road / Indiana 23, South Bend.
The HANLEY & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home handled arrangements and services and extend deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to the Stark family.
