Mrs Elma L Bailey, 74, wife of Levi Bailey, died at her home in Nappanee Saturday evening, following a five months’ illness.
She is survived by her husband and the following children: Ed Hostettler and Alvin Bailey of South Bend, Mrs James Arver of Sturgis, Mich, Mrs Cloyd Brumbaugh of Nappanee and Mrs Nellie Ahlgrim of Mishawaka; two half sisters, Mrs Joe Clements of Lansing, Mich and Mrs Lee Smeltzer of Wakarusa; one brother, Lyndon Price of Elkhart; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Mrs Bailey was born near Wakarusa, the daughter of Mr and Mrs Thomas Price. She spent all of her life in Nappanee and vicinity.
She was a member of the First Brethren church for 25 years.
