  Milton was the 14th of 16 children born to John Hartzell Wasser (1842-1908) and Elizabeth Bergey Garges (1842-1911). At the time of his birth, 10 of his siblings had already died, most as infants and toddlers. He married Maggie Landis Moore on November 8, 1908 in Lansdale, PA. The couple would have 2 sons: 1) Jacob Moore Wasser (1911-1978) 2) Milton Moore Wasser (1917-1999) He was a retired farmer and self-employed carpenter. At the time of his death, he was a resident of the Frederick Mennonite Community Home (assisted living) in Frederick Township, PA. Suffering from dementia, he left the facility undetected late one night in sub-zero January temperatures. His body was found 9 days later in farmer's field, about 1-1/2 miles away. His death was ruled accidental by exposure to the weather (froze to death).
