- Richard K. Fishburn, 76, Mohrsville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, in Reading Hospital.
He was married to Fern (Sonday) Fishburn for 55 years.
Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Levi and Verna (Oxenreider) Fishburn.
He was employed by Glen Gery Brick in Shoemakersville for 29 years, retiring in 1993.
He also was a farmer for many years.
He was a member of Christ Little Tulpehocken Church, Jefferson Township, where he achieved 16 years of perfect attendance in Sunday school.
Surviving with his wife are six daughters: Christine L., wife of Terry Klinger, Dauberville; Shirley E. Fish-burn, Mohrsville; Mary J., wife of Allen Grube, Mohrsville; Grace L., wife of Gregg Essig, Hamburg; Diane L., wife of Ronald Schadler, Dauberville; and Kathy A., wife of Jeffrey Gechter, Bernville.
There are also one brother, LeRoy Fishburn, Bernville; and one sister, Lucille Ohlinger, Centerport.
There are 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and there step great-grand-children.
He was predeceased by a brother, Clarence Fishburn.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 2, at 11 a.m. in Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville, with the Rev. Roderick Sutliff officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Little Tulpehocken Church Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 9 and Wednesday one hour prior to services in the funeral home.
