  Anna Magdalena had no birth or baptismal record and was probably born in between 1660 and 1680 since she was still having children after 1711. Her death in New York occurred after 1734 when we have the last record of her. She married as her first husband Michael Schauer. The registers of Massenbach call Michael a Catholic and Anna Magdalena a Lutheran. Michael Schauer was a Palantine convert from Catholocism who was admitted to the Lords Supper in the Protestant communion at the Lutheran Church at the Savoy in London shortly after 09 October 1709. Their children include Johan Adam (see link below), Hans (Johann), Michael, Anna Magdelena, Maria Catharina. A Michel Schehart, his wife, and two children are recorded on Captain John Untank's ship in the 5th party in Holland in 1709 though it is not certain that Michel Schehart is the same person as Michael Schauer. He must have died on the voyage to the New World. In a foreign land with no husband, Magdalena made her first appearance on the Hunter Lists on 30 June 1710 with 2 persons over 10 years of age and 2 person under 10 years. Her last entry there was on 31 December 1710 with the same numbers. She was later recorded as Magdalin Schourer in 1718 and Magdalen Shower in 1721 on the Palatine Debt Lists. On 13 February 1711 as recorded at the West Camp Lutheran Church in Ulster Co, NY where she married as her second husband Johann Melchior Dausweberin, a widower, who was born on 1 January 1655 in Burshel, Marbach Community, Württemberg. She was later recorded as Magdalin Schourer in 1718 and Magdalen Shower in 1721 on the Palatine Debt Lists. Why she reverted to her first husband's name is unclear, but it would seem her 2nd husband had died by this point. Prior to 1734 she married as her third husband Paul Engel with whom she is recorded on the Family List for St. Peter Lutheran Church in 1734 along with her daughter by her second marriage, Maria Dausweberin. The church was newly built in 1733 in Rheinbeck, Duchess Co., NY. The family connection with this locale is confirmed by her son Johan Adam who would live in Rhinebeck in the 1750s with his young family.
