- YORK Erlene Belle Chronister, 87, died peacefully at home Friday, November 20, 2015.
She was born December 25, 1927, at a Christmas party where her mother, Lessie Wagner Myers was playing piano and singing at her husband's brother's house, Chris Myers, in Loganville.
They had to use feed bags as diapers for her. She lived on the Elizabethtown College campus where her father, Daniel E Myers, taught Math and Science. Her mother, Lessie was a student at Elizabethtown College where she met Daniel.
At two years old she accompanied her mother and father to New York City where her father received a Master's of Arts Degree from Columbia University. Erlene graduated from York William Penn High School with a concentration in business and utilized her skills as a business manager for her husband's electrical contracting business.
