  Lancaster Examiner and Herald – November 10, 1869 October 24th, at the residence of her son, Henry Buckwalter, near Bellefontaine, Ohio, SUSANNAH BUCKWALTER, wife of Henry Buckwalter, aged 61 years and 3 days. Mother Buckwalter removed with her husband from Lancaster county, Pa., to Logan county, Ohio, in 1855. She embraced religion twenty-nine years ago, and was at the time of her death a member of the Flat Branch Christian Church. Her disease was lingering and painful, but she bore her sufferings with becoming meekness and at length, just two months after the death of her husband, departed from this world in the triumphant hope of consolidating an eternal Union with him in that Godly Land where “No tears are shed, no farewells given.”
