- Guy J. Donmoyer, 98, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Manor Care Health Services. He was the husband of Mary E. (Loser) Donmoyer. They celebrated their 74th Wedding Anniversary on December 3rd.
Born in Lebanon, PA on December 28, 1914, he was a son of the late Ralph L. and Maude E. (Lash) Donmoyer.
He retired from Conrail after 30 years of service. He was a member of Tabor United Church of Christ. He was a Phillies, Steelers and Red Sox fan. He enjoyed hunting, horses, card games, trips to the casino, watching Nascar and doing crossword puzzles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Larry L., husband of Georgia Donmoyer and Ralph B. Donmoyer; 2 grandchildren, Antoinette Henning and James R. Donmoyer, Jr.; 3 great grandchildren, Gabrielle Donmoyer, Ryan Henning and Gracen Donmoyer; 1 daughter-in-law, SallyAnn Donmoyer; 3 brothers, Robert, Kenneth and Ronald Donmoyer and 1 sister, Fern Reddinger; also numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 1 son, James R. Donmoyer, Sr.; 1 brother, Clair Donmoyer; 3 sisters, Loretta Becker; Marion Putt, and Jean Wolf.
Funeral Service Friday morning 11 AM at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, 17042. Interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg. Viewing hours Friday morning from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to, Tabor United Church of Christ, 124 S. 10th St., Lebanon, 17042.
