- Harold H. Moyer, 92, of Sinking Spring, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Phoebe Berks Health Care Center, Wernersville.
He was the husband of the late Edna M. (Moyer) Moyer, who died March 4, 2015. Born in West Lawn, he was the son of the late Harvey E. and Orale S. (Moyer) Moyer.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mae Goodhart.
He was a graduate of Wilson High School, and was a lifelong member of St. John's Reformed Church, Sinking Spring. He was a U. S. Army veteran, having served in the Philippines during World War II.
He retired in 1986 after 40 years at Rockwell International, formerly known as Textile Machine Works.
"Pop Pop" was our go-to man because he could fix anything. He designed and built his own home. His woodworking skills were endless. He had a kind heart and was always willing to help others.
He is survived by a son, Rodney L. Moyer, husband of Barbara J., Sinking Spring; two daughters, Donna M., wife of Roger A. Fitterling, Sinking Spring, and Debbie K., wife of Barry S. Stubblebine Jr., Wernersville; seven grandchildren: David Moyer; Kristie Douglas; Jamie Moyer; Shauna Moorman; Ryan, Michael and Eric Fitterling; four great-grandchildren: Danielle, Dominic, Jaden and Keira; and a great-grandson-to-be.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Cory Stubblebine.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 13, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville. A viewing will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sinking Spring Cemetery.
