- Robert L. Etchberger, 49, of Sinking Spring R. D. 5, died of natural causes Sunday night at 8:45 in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient one day.
Also known as "Hap," he was born in Lower Heidelberg Township, a son of Harry J. and Verna M. (Valentine) Etchberger, of Sinking Spring.
An Army veteran of the Korean War, he had been employed as a mason, last working in June.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by six sisters: Phyllis J., wife of Russell Kissling, and Judy L., wife of James Kurowski, both of Wernersville, and Pearl N., wife of Charles Shearer, Sinking Spring.
And Ruby A., wife of Frank Bauman, Reinholds; Carolyn J., wife of Robert Hammond, East Earl; and Linda L., wife of Dale Sallade, West Lawn.
Also five brothers: John J., Richard H. and Luke V., all of Sinking Spring, and William J. of Reinholds and Thomas M. of Temple.
The Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, Wernersville, is in charge of arrangments.
ETCHBERGER--On the 14th inst, ROBERT L. "HAP" ETCHBERGER, of Sinking Spring R.D. 5, age 49 years.
Services at the Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, at the convenience of the family. Interment in Host Church Cemetery. No viewing.
