  Irene D Lape, 93 of West Reading passed away peacefully on Wednesday at 6:45 AM in Reading Hospital and Medical Center where she had been a patient since September 12th. She was the widow of Jacque Lape who died January 18, 2001. Born in Muhlenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Frederick R. and Esther S. (Bucks) Wertz. She had been employed for many years in the office of Vanity Fair Corp. Wyomissing. She is survived by 1 sister, Jean wife of Donald Delong of Laureldale and 1 brother Dennis Wertz of Reading and several cousins. Graveside services and entombment will be Tuesday at 1:30 PM in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. Relatives and friends may gather inside the front entrance of the cemetery until service time.
