- Womelsdorf Feed Mill Operator, 73, Expires
Lester H. Wagner, a Womelsdorf feed mill operator and a native of Avon, died Saturday night in the Reading Hospital.
A resident of 149 W. Franklin St., Womelsdorf, he was 73.
He was one of the operators of the Weidner and Emerich Feed Mill, Womelsdorf, and an elder emeritus of Zion United Church of Christ, Womelsdorf. He was also a member of the church school.
He was the son of the late Henry and Lizzie Fredericks Wagner. His wife, the former Katie C. Degler, died in 1960.
Surviving are a son, Donald R., Shartlesville; two daughters, Amelia E., wife of Paul A. Hertzog, and Irene E., wife of Harry K. Schaeffer, both of Womelsdorf, and five grandchildren.
A brother, Paul, Womelsdorf, and three sisters, Laura, of Womelsdorf; Mrs. Nora Manmiller, Stony Creek Mills, and Mrs. Mabel Jones, Sinking Spring RD, also survive.
