  Florence E. Becker, 73, of 21 Bradford Drive, Leola, died Wednesday at Maple Farm Nursing Center in Akron. She was the wife of Christian P. Becker, who died in 1991. Born in Newark, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Clara A. McFarland McManus. A 1940 graduate of McCaskey High School, she worked for 22 years as a bookkeeper for the former Shirley Manufacturing Co. She retired in 1970. She and her husband also sold antiques at area flea markets. Mrs. Becker was an avid supporter of the Humane League. She was the last of her immediate family.
