  (Burial location unknown -- Muddy Creek was the Steffy church.) Michael Bingel's daughter married widower George Steffan at Muddy Creek Reformed Church on Mar. 22, 1768 (Wright, "Lancaster Co. Church Records", p.122). Children were born in 1771, 1774 and 1775, and Maria Dorothea was dead by the middle of 1776. They seem to have lived their whole marriage in the Adamstown area
