Scull, 71, of 219 Woodrow Ave., Sinking Spring, died Saturday at 9:35 a.m. in the Reading Hosnital, where he had been a patient since Wednesday. Born in Reading, a son of the late James and Mazie (Walters) Scull, he was a former Sinking Spring Councilman and policeman. He was emploved as a maintenance worker for the Reading Co. prior to his retirement in 1967. Mr. Scull was a member of the Sinking Spring and Lincoln Park fire companies, the Berks County Firemen's Assn. and the Green Valley Country Club. He is survived by his widow, Dorothy V. (Matz) Scull, and a son, Vernon B., West Wyomissing. Services will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Francis F. Seidel Il Funeral Home, Sinking Spring, the Rev. Harold R. Baer Jr. officiating.
