- Harold R. Ruth, 79, of Robesonia, is now absent from the body and present with the Lord (II Corinthians 5:8). He went to be with his Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Ruthie N. (Zeigler) Ruth with whom he shared 54 years of marriage on Sept. 16th.
Born in Wernersville, he was a son of the late Levi and Anna (Kintzer) Ruth.
He was a US Marines Corp Veteran.
He was a member of Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, Sinking Spring.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Richard H. Ruth, husband of Cindy K., Mohnton, and Randy A. Ruth, husband of Amina, Kazakhstan; five brothers, Paul Ruth, Wernersville, Robert Ruth, Gainesville, FL, Ralph Ruth, Wernersville, John Ruth, Robesonia, Donald Ruth, Womelsdorf; two sisters, Dorothy Beebe, Wernersville, and Shirley Spaid, Robesonia; and four granddaughters, Rebekah, Aisha, Camilla, and Malika. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Sizer.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, Dec. 17th, at Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, 4891 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, with his pastor, the Rev. Dr. Robert A. Sloan officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville, is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Bible Fellowship Church Mission Fund, 4891 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, PA 19608.
