• Notes

  Martin was the son of the immigrant Johann Martin Pfatteicher & Anna Barbara Suess. He married Catharina Elizabeth LNU and they had six children. The earliest stones in St. Daniel's Cemetery are lying flat. After a fire in the 1970s, the earliet stones were moved to a newly created section and all put flat into the ground, therefore you can't see the backs. This photo was taken in October 1994 and upon a return trip in 2005, the stone was very hard to read. In July 2014, the stone is totally unreadable due to the elements and being flat on the ground.
