- Linda Lou (Reedy) Ohlinger, 72, of Sinking Spring, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Carl L. Ohlinger, Sr., with whom she shared 57 years of marriage on Jan. 28th.
Born in Sinking Spring, on September 10, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Warren W. and Margaret R. (Spangler) Reedy.
She was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church. Sinking Spring.
She retired in 2011 from the Reading Hospital.
She loved to cook for her family, having them over every Sunday for dinner. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she loved her family dearly.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Carl L. Ohlinger, Jr., Sinking Spring, Connie D., wife of Keith Rothenberger, Maiden Creek Twp., and Brian D. Ohlinger, husband of Abby, Sinking Spring; a brother, Paul Reedy, husband of Mary, Wernersville; two sisters, Beatrice Rickenbach, Sinking Spring, and Patsy, wife of William Miller, Sinking Spring; four grandchildren, Ashley, wife of Brandon Conrad, Hilary, wife of Douglas Weaver, Bradley Ohlinger, husband of Amy, and Natalie Ohlinger; and two great grandchildren, Jackson and Graydon Conrad.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 16th, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville, with her pastor, the Rev. Robert S. Ziehmer officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-11:00 AM, Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring.
