"John Lutz, Armstrong Supervisor
John. H. Lutz, 88, of Moravian Manor, Lititz, died there Saturday after a long illness. He was formerly of Rothsville.
An inspector with Armstrong World Industries, he retired in 1974 after 24 years.
He was a member of the Warwick and Solanco beagle clubs and was an honorary member of the Lebanon Beagle Club.
He was an avid gardener.
Lutz was also a member of Middle Creek Church of the Brethren, Lititz.
Born in Clay Township, he was a son of the late Lemon and Annie Hummer Lutz.
He and his wife, Anna R. Lutz of Lititz, were married 60 years last June.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, Lamar B., husband of Melanie Lutz of Lititz, Gerald B., husband of Linda Lutz, both of Manheim, and Allen, husband of Linda Lutz of Rothsville; two daughters, Karen Ann, wife of H. Clay Miller, and Debra Kay, wife of Ned Pelger, both of Lititz; 14 grandchildren; and two sisters, Anna Lutz and Emma Kauffman, both of Lititz."
