- Bernville, May 10 - Mrs. Clara P. (Luckenbill) Schrack, 68, of this community, died yesterday in the Keiser Convalescent Home.
Born in Upper Tulpehocken Township, a daughter of the late James H. and Minnie M. (Degler) Luckenbill, she was preceded in death 19 years ago by her husband, Samuel S. Schrack.
Mrs. Schrack was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Salem (Belleman's) Union Church, near Dauberville, and of the auxiliary to the Bernville Fire Company.
She is survived by two daughters, Minnie I., wife of Ira Himmelberger, Leesport R.D. 1, and Sallie R., wife of Aaron Smith, this community; a son, Ralph W. Haag, Leesport R.D. 1; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Eight brothers, Walter Luckenbill, Shartlesville; John Luckenbill, Bernville R.D. 2, and Jonas, James, Paul, Roy, Leon and Charles Luckenbill, all of Bernville R.D. 1, and three sisters, Esther, wife of George Reppert, Leesport R.D. 1; Eura, wife of Harvey Phillips, Mohrsville R.D. 1, and Kathryn, wife of Floyd Koenig, Bernville R.D. 2.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Salem (Belleman's) Church, the Rev. Richard L. Kehler officiating.
Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The Kirkhoff Funeral Home, here, is in charge of arrangements.
