  Ann Evans was born in Pembrokeshire, Wales to John E. & Mary "Evans" Williams. She emigrated with her parents to Pennsylvania. Ann married Hugh Foulke, son of 'The Immigrant' Edward F Foulke and Eleanor 'Hughes' Foulke. Hugh and Ann Foulke had 11 children: Mary, Martha, Samuel, Eleanor, John, Thomas, Theophilus, William, Edward, Ann, & Jane. Pennsylvania Vital Records, Vol I.: Index to the Biographical Sketches.. Published in the Friends Vols. Page 52. Text: "Foulke, Ann, 1693 - 1773. Dau. of John Williams; wife of Hugh. Richland, Pa" Biographical annals of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. "The Foulkes were an old family in Gwynedd, their ancestor, Edward Foulke, and Eleanor his wife, having come from Wales in 1698, and settled at Gwynedd.
