  SENECA FALLS- Dolores L. "Dolly" Scharett, 79, of Stanton Meadows Dr. passed away Sunday afternoon (September 5, 2010) at Geneva General Hospital. Services and interment will be held privately. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Dolly's memory. Born in Reading, Penn., the daughter of Walter and Lucy Naftzinger Adams, Dolly spent most of her live in Seneca Falls. She worked for several years at Wescott Rule and the Seneca Knitting Mill. Her greatest hobby was cross word puzzles. She is survived by her sons, Gary (Ann) Scharett, Timothy (Pat) Scharett, Jeffrey (Lea) Scharett, Bruce and Perry Scharett; daughter, Debra Carroll; brother, Dennis Adams of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Dolly was predeceased by her husband, George Scharett. The family has entrusted the Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home, Inc. 32 State St., Seneca Falls with the arrangements.
