Mrs. Verna M. Claytor, 83, of 4897 Mouie Lane, St. James City, Fla., formerly of 178 North St., Emmaus, died Wednesday in her home. She was the widow of Russell L. Claytor.
She was a sewing machine operator at the former K & M Sportswear Co., Allentown, for many years before retiring.
Born in Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Dunkelberger) Adams.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Emmaus.
Survivors: Daughter Virginia, wife of Franklin Yenser, with whom she resided; sisters, Mrs. Fern Goddard of Reading, Mrs. Jennie Spaydt of Leesport, Berks County, and Uria, wife of James Ciraulo of Bernville, Berks County; seven stepchildren; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Joy Reber.
Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Kulik-Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. Call 1-2 p.m. Tuesday.
