View this person on FamilySearch to see this information.<br> Additional information: <br> <br>Ref : Find a grave #19159473<br>LifeSketch: Jacob Morgan, was born in Wales, in 1716, and came to this county with his father, Thomas Morgan, and they immigrated to Caranarvon Township, in Lancaster County, in 1730. During the French and Indian War, in 1755, Jacob was commissioned as a captian under the Provincial Government. He was 39 years old. He was active in various positions during the Revolutionary War. He was a judge of the county for the years, 1768-1769, 1772, and from 1774-1777, and was a justice of the peace, in southern Berks County from 1777-1791. He died in Morgantown, November 11, 1792, at the age of 76, and was buried in the cemetery of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church. He had two sons, Jacob Jr., and Benjamin; three daughters, Sarah (married to Joseph Jenkins), Mary (married to John Hudson), and Rebecca (married to John Price, an Attorney in Reading. Rachel, a daughter of John and Rebecca Price, was married to Samuel Wetherill in 1788. Bangor Episcopal Church, at Churchtown, Carnarvon Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
