- Raymond H. Lutz II, 67, of 1823 Liggett Ave., Cumru Township, died Tuesday at 5:20 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since Jan. 13.
He was the husband of Rose M. (Waruszewski) Lutz.
Born in Wernersville, he was a son of the late Raymond H. Lutz Sr. and Lucy E. (Strickler) Lutz.
Lutz was employed 30 years as a welder by Dana Corp.'s Parish Light Vehicle Structures Division, Reading, until his retirement.
He was a member of Christ (Little Tulpehocken) United Church of Christ, Jefferson Township.
Lutz is also survived by a son, Raymond H. III, Shillington; two daughters, Lucy (Lutz) Shanaman, in Maryland, and Frances (Lutz) John, Reading; and a stepdaughter, Ellen J. Waruszewski, Laureldale.
Other survivors include two sisters, Shirley (Lutz) Harris, Birdsboro, and Lorraine (Lutz) Grant, Dillon, SC, and three brothers: George, Reading; Kenneth, Riverview Park; and Gerald, Hamburg.
There are also nine grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Christ (Little Tulpehocken) Cemetery, Jefferson Township.
