- Myerstown, Sept. 4--Howard H. Feeg, 73, died here yesterday in his residence, 117 W. Carpenter St.
Born in Jefferson Township, a son of the late Joseph and Amanda (Ruth) Feeg, he was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Host. He was also affiliated with the Marion Grange, and Camp 237, POS of A., both of Stouchsburg, and Tulpehocken Council 941, Order of Independent Americans, this place.
Surviving are his widow, Katie E. (Webber) Feeg, two sons, Paul J., of Womelsdorf R.R.1 and Carl G., of town; a daughter, Fern E. at home, three grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Ella, wife of Charles Miller, Springcrest; Eva, wife of Willard Matthew, Stouchsburg; Bessie, wife of Harry Killian, William Feeg, and Mabel, wife of Charles Petticoffer, all of West Reading; Lloyd, of Shillington; Frank, of Reading, and John, of Sinking Spring. A sister [daughter] Allene died 28 years ago.
Services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the Schucker Funeral Home, Rehrersburg, with further rites scheduled in St. Johns Church, Host, with the Rev. Elmer A. Dech officiating. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery.
