  The Pottstown Mercury, Pottstown, Pa Tuesday, June 29, 2010 Norman R. Moore, 83, of Douglass Twp. Norman R. 'Mose' Moore, 83, of Douglass Twp., Boyertown, died Sunday at his residence. Born in Chester County, he was a son of the late Harry Moore and the late Minnie (Ritter) Moore. Mr. Moore worked for a casting company in Boyertown. He was a former member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Mr. Moore raced stock cars for 20 years at Sanatoga Raceway, Reading and Hatfield Speedways. He also was a member of the bowling association. Surviving are two sisters, Edna Seibold, N. Coventry Twp. and Miriam Loomis, N. Coventry Twp. He was preceded in death by one brother, Harry Moore, and one sister, Grace Wirag. There will be a viewing on Wednesday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King Street, Pottstown. Services and burial will be private and held at the convience of the family at Pottstown Cemetery - West. Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., in Pottstown.
