  DEATH OF GEORGE L. CORWIN - George L. Corwin was born August 12, 1815, and died July 28, 1895, aged 79 years, 11 months and 15 days. On the 17th of April 1837, he was united in marriage to Margaret M. Dickinson, who survives him. To them were born ten children, nine of whom, with the mother, are left to mourn the loss of a loving and indulgent father and husband. He also leaves forty-two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The deceased had been a resident of Logan County his entire life, with the exception of a few months spent in the West. The first of October 1844, he, with his family, moved to Missouri, but becoming dissatisfied he returned to Ohio the following summer. He returned to the farm which he had left, known as the Jacob Rudy farm, where he lived for six years, thence removing to the farm on which he lived at the time of his death. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. His life was fraught with good deeds, and as the soul passed peacefully from his body we felt that we could truthfully say, "He is at rest". The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Hadley, of West Liberty, Ohio.
