  World War II Army 313th Bomb Wing Hdg "Norman A. Degler, 67, of 831 Columbia Ave., Sinking Spring, died Thursday at 12:25 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since Oct 26. He was the husband of Mae M. (Ohlinger) Degler. Born in Penn Township, he was a son of the late Roger and Tama (Rentschler) Degler. Degler was employed by the Burkey Construction Co. for 25 years, last working as a construction foreman before retiring in May 1990. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wernersville. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. Other survivors include two daughters, Linda M., wife of Patrick J. Murphy, Exeter Township, and Diane M., wife of Layne R. Adams, Wernersville, and two brothers, Paul, Robesonia, and Floyd, Wilshire. There are also four grandchildren. Lam, & Witman Funeral Home Inc., Wernersville, is in charge of arrangements."
