- Womelsdorf, Sept. 6--Clara C. (Salem), widow of Cosmus H. Zimmerman, died at the home of her sister, Harvey Noll, Newmanstown, from a complication of diseases. She was aged 60 years 7 months and 11 days. She was a member of Camp 26, P.O. of A., Stouchsburg. There survive on daughter, Mamie C., wife of George Long, this borough; two step-daughters, Mrs. Charles Yoder, Shoemakersville; Lizzie Zimmerman, Sinking Spring; one step-son, Calvin, Stouchsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Harvey Noll, Newmanstown; Mrs. Frank Forry, Wernersville; two brothers, Edwin Salem, Newmanstown, and John Salem, Stouchsburg.
Funeral Thursday morning, Sept. 8, at 9:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Long, North Second street, this borough. Interment in Host Church cemetery. Rev. E. S Leinbach will officiate. Funeral Director F. D. Arnold, of town, has charge.
