  A 64-year-old Lebanon County woman died Saturday afternoon of head injuries suffered when the car in which she was a passenger collided head-on with another car on Route 422 in Heidelberg Township, just east of Womelsdorf. Reading Hospital personnel identified the victim as Ruth I. Greth, of Richland R.D. 1. She was transported from the scene by a Western Berks ambulance to the Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival at 4:15 p.m. Berks County Coroner Michael F. Feeney said Greth died of injuries suffered when her had hit the rear-view mirror. He added that an autopsy would be performed today in Reading Hospital. Injured in the collision and transported to the Reading Hospital were the victim's husband, Paul M. Greth, 70; the driver of the other car, Charles D. Fager, 19, of Jonestown R.D. 3; and his fiancee, Crystal S. Myers, 19, of Jonestown R.D. 3. Myers, who suffered a broken back in the crash, was being treated at press time. Both Fager and Paul Greth were treated for facial cuts. Feeney said Greth was traveling eat toward Robesonia when the vehicles collided in front of Conrad Weiser Park around 3:30 p.m. "A seat belt would have saved her life," Feeney said. "There's no doubt about it." Feeney said that several people at the scene theorized that Fager might have been confused by the Womelsdorf turn sign, which is located about half a mile from the actual turn-off point. "He just drifted into the eastbound lane," Feeney said. "We will ask PennDOT to re-evaluate the location of that sign."
