  Joan L. (Lawrence) Lamm, 92, of Leesport, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Berks Heim. She was the wife of the late Alvin A. Lamm, who died March of 1988. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Lucy E. (Moore) Lawrence. She was a member of St. John’s (Hain’s) UCC, Wernersville. She was a graduate of Ontelaunee High School. She worked until she was 87 years old for Big John’s Catering, having previously work for Wright’s Knitting Mill. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra L., wife of Anthony R. Schoch, Wernersville; a son Ronald A. Lamm, husband of Esther M., Leesport; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Florence D. Lawrence, and a granddaughter. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 26, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville, with the Rev. Kerry Hicks officiating. A visitation will be held from 10-11:00 AM, Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Leesport Cemetery. Lamm & Witman Funeral Home
