  Kent L. Guldin Mar. 3, 1957 - Apr. 7, 2012 Kent L. Guldin, 55, of LaGrange, Ind. died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Guldin was born on March 3, 1957 in LaGrange, Ind. to Max I. and Martha A. (Sturgis) Guldin. Living his lifetime in LaGrange County, he was a graduate of Lakeland High School in LaGrange. Mr. Guldin was a caregiver at Alternative Lifestyles and ARC Opportunities, Inc. in LaGrange, Ind. He had also been a Jailer with LaGrange County Sheriff's Department and had worked as a meat cutter. He was a former member of the LaGrange Lions Club and had volunteered at LaGrange County Animal Shelter. Mr. Guldin is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Mary Guldin of LaGrange, Ind.; his mother, Martha "Peachie" Guldin of LaGrange, Ind.; three grandchildren, Josh, Jake, and Olivia Guldin; and three brothers and a sister-in-law, Kay Guldin of Shipshewana, Ind., David and Ann Guldin of Adrian, Mich., and Chad Guldin of Casa Grande, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his father, Max Guldin on June 19, 1997 and his son, Joshua Guldin on January 31, 1999. A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church with the Pastors Sandra Hutchens and Thomas McShannock officating. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery in Howe, IN. Visitation will be held at the church from 1pm until service time. Memorials may be made to ARC Opportunities, Inc.
